I Heart Supporting Creative People
The thing that I love about making online media content is supporting creative people. I love to interview people and promote them here at We Are The Media and over at I Make Things. I am proud to be making videos about people doing cool things and saying, “Hey, this person is doing cool things, check it out!”
We live in an anti-greatness culture where we are subtly educated to hide our greatness. We hear secret whispers telling us to be guilty for being special. Don’t listen to those conformist voices.
Instead, I say we listen to our hearts and lead from our passion and bliss.
I hearby resolve to battle the forces of anti-greatness in the world and promote the greatness in every human being.

Senator Edwards Answers My Question
Senator Edwards answered my question about arts programs and education. Thank you Senator for your clear response. As a teacher, I can testify that public schools are under the gun to meet increasingly stringent standards while budgets are being crunched and class sizes rise. Link.

Josh Leo - Vlog Superman
Josh is one of the video bloggers that inspired me to video blog. I dragged him into the dank stairwell of vloggercue to get his words of wisdom on tape.
Note: He’s just started a “b-roll” vlog over at the stonefarm. Check it out.

Vloggercue Presentation on Mefeedia and We Are The Media
Yesterday at the vloggercue I gave a presentation on the power of quoting media using Mefeedia. Using an example from We Are The Media, I showed that not only does quoting video make it possible to quote video bloggers, but it makes it easy for me to take a single moment in a news story and pick it out of a news program and quote it in order to focus on just that issue. Mefeedia also gives credit where credit is due and puts a link back to the origional post so that watchers can put the quote in context. I love presenting to large groups and I had a great time presenting to a great group of vloggers!

We Are The Media Revolution
Ever since Gnomedex, I’ve been sitting on all these really cool video interviews with folks about feed enabled, serialized, media content. I’ve been busy starting this site to show these videos.
Jennifer asked me if she could interview me about this project. This is her first video-blog project and it was so much fun that I’m sure you can look forward to more collaborations and more independant reports from her. Besides being a great reporter, she looks good, doesn’t she?
