James Boyle, William Neal Reynolds Professor of Law and Faculty Co-Director of the Center for the Study of the Public Domain at Duke Law School, sees several possibilites, but is not optimistic. Here is a short video snippet from the question and answer part of his keynote speech at the Beyond Broadcast 2006 conference last Friday and Saturday, May 12-13 at Harvard’s Berkman Center. I captured this from the live conference video stream using SnapX Pro.

This was a great conference. I was happy to be able to attend part of it. A very diverse group of people attended from old media, new media, video game biz, educational technology, law, and on and on.
