The Tribeca Film Festival, in association with American Express, is launching the 15 Second Clip Competition. This is something that I’m sure any vlogger reading this blog can win. What is it? You submit your 15 second clip to their site which illustrates a number of themes from:
What’s your perfect day?
What’s your perfect moment?
And more listed on the website.
The films will be judged by Martin Scorsese and M. Night Shyamalan, and the winner can win up to $15,000. There are of course some guidelines as far as nudity, language etc. (Lame and corporate rules that are always associated with these sorts of contests.) As far as the entry process:
Clips may not be larger than 9MB and must be a dimension of 320 x 240 pixels. You must complete the registration process and upload your video no later than 11:59P.M. (ET) on 4/26/06 to qualify for the Competition. You may submit more than one video in accordance with the entry process, but you cannot submit the same video more than once.
Also realize that the clips become owned by American Express and other rights that are released by entering the contest. READ THE GUIDELINES FIRST! Best of luck to all who enter.
Website for entry into the contest.
