“I love FireAnt because I can keep track of a lot of videoblogs.” So says Ryanne in her FireAnt interview video. It’s true. FireAnt just launched a new version of their excellent videoblog client, which plays every format under the sun and, unlike iTunes, makes it easy to comment on videos. Even better, FireAnt now has a comprehensive videoblog directory - both on the web site and within the FireAnt client. Cool! You can browse, tag and rate videoblogs and individual videos. You can also queue up videos you want to download to the FireAnt client - it’s all synced up. It’s hot, it’s fresh, it’s where you’re going right now: fireant.tv
Vloggers, don’t forget to add your channel.

Within ten seconds of installing it I did three Yahoo! searches, each of which caused an ‘exception selecting feed’ error and asked me did I want to report it to FireAnt. Looks like the new version is even more buggy than the last

i forwarded your comment to the FireAnt team.
they might need more info from you to find out the source of the problem though… could you email the specifics to info@fireant.tv?

Fireant is definately buggy and not quite as good as I had hoped. The concept is good but they have a long way to go. I installed it and ran it on a Windows XP home machine and fireant unpredictable at best and crashed a couple times. I will be looking into it more though as we are interested in adding the option to create oneclick fireant subscription buttons for our clients if their team continues to improve the application.
