Today, January 17,2006 the Science Section of the New York Times carried a photograph and a news story about a fellow named Mikey Sklar.
Jonny Goldstein told me he had done a vlog about Mikey Sklar a few weeks ago.
I interviewed Aubrey de Grey in Atlanta in early November. Sixty Minutes did a feature on him a couple weeks ago.
It seems to me that some vloggers are really ahead of the news media in general.

I want to play too, but this seems extremely restrictive, aren’t there enough sites for/about vlogging already. I realize that those behind this site are extremely talented and have a great deal of experience with this technology … You could actually BE the media .. but ya gotta stop preaching to the choir first.

Hi Flux,
Not sure how you see this as restrictive. Who do you want to preach to? I’m all for increasing the audience. But there is also a very good reason for preaching to the choir: to fire them up so they can sing!
What is it that you feel restricted from? It seems to me that almost any interesting topic can be viewed from the context of videoblogging.
Help us find a way so that you can discuss the issues that you think we might be missing. We value your point of view.
