Positive growth is the cornerstone to any good business model (you like when I reference previous WATM articles, don’t you?). Many readers of this site are most likely members of the Yahoo! Videoblogging Group. It is a staple of our relatively small community. However, when I use the term small it is simply as a comparative descriptor utilized to frame size versus the global population. Since it’s inception in May of 2004, the v-blogging group has seen new members increase leaps and bounds. I thought I would take a minute to put things in perspective. As of today, there are 1610 registered users of the group. According to Michael Verdi, rough estimates of growth are as follows: late November - approximately 125 members, May 31, 2005 (one year vlogiversary) - around 550. If I was a math person, I’d give a percentage of growth over the last 18 months. Because I’m not a math person, I’ll just say holy cow! Thats a lot of new vlogs. If we keep going at this rate, there’s no telling how big the group could get. Here’s to the new vloggers - always moving us forward, always keeping things fresh, and always inspiring more positive growth. Keep up the good work.

Nice use of voice in this post Tim. I like how you put your dialogue with the audience in parenthesis.
You created a new word in this post! I can’t wait for watm’s vlogiversary in July!
This is a great post celebrating growth in the vlogosphere!
