Vodstock Vlog Directory

If you are frustrated with the current directories available to find new vlogs then you might want to check out Vodstock . Vodstock was put together by Daniel Davis who wanted to show his family about vlogging but wanted to make it easy for them to find stuff they are interested in. Vlogs are put into different categories (like music, animation, news, sports etc.) so you can browse by your interests.

He has also put in a few very cool features into the site. You can vote on vlogs you like. When you click on a vlog it will often load in the latest episode so you can get a feel for what the vlog is about very quickly. He has even included a “If you like this, you might like…” predictive suggestion feature based upon viewer trends. If you are curious about the name it is a play on words of “woodstock” which Daniel thought was fitting as it conjured up feelings of ‘freedom’.

Oh, and don’t tell Daniel’s family about the site yet, he still wants to put more work into it before lettting them see it ;)
