Andrew Baron Interview

The Unofficial Apple Weblog has put up an interview with Andrew Baron of Rocketboom . The article is definitely worth a read because it is not just a cursory look at Rocketboom like we have been seeing in the mainstream media, but rather an in-depth discussion on subjects such as the history of RB, Apple+Itunes+vlogging, and codecs. He also opens a very interesting and debate-worthy can of worms suggesting that most videobloggers don’t ‘get’ the weblog medium.

When I called it a can of worms, it was more becuase of the reaction I knew it would provoke. I can figure what he meant to say by it but I think if he expressed it differently he might have gotten a different reaction.

I think the real issue here is the division that are getting drawn up in Vlogsphere. I think the cosy days of ‘all for one one for all’ are starting to break apart a bit.

And FORB is certainly a shot across the bow.
