I will be writing the curriculum for and helping manage an initiative which will teach approximately 150 public school teens in the Bronx how to videoblog. This will be done under the auspices of Vision Education and Media and SOBRO. This is going to take a lot of work to pull off, but I am so thrilled to be part of this.

Jonny, your passion is so strong. You’re amassing such an amazing amount of potential here. Wow. Wow. Wow. Man.
Those students are so lucky to have your passion in the room with them! The only reason I would ever want to be a teen again, would be to take your class! Really, it’s going to rock.
Man, this is a movement, like a social movement. 150 active vloggers under your teaching. Wow. I’m still reeling. Wow. I can’t wait for the student work and for the work that you do to document your teaching process and ideas.

Thanks for the positive thoughts. I imagine it’s gonna be a headache to get all the tech stuff going, but if we can deal with that, it’s gonna be great.

Jonny, this is so cool. Teaching is such a powerful way of changing the world, one student at a time! I know you will do a fantastic job–and have fun while doing it! Congrats!!

Yay! Working with teens is fun! They pick up things fast. Looking forward to seeing more teen voices. Here are some of the teen vlogs from our Summer program at Just Think. They love music.
