The Videoblogging world has been officially “mapped” since July 2005, when Vlogmap.org was born. How great is it to be able to look at the world, see a videoblog in a far off place and go take a look at life on the other side? Or find videobloggers right in your own neighborhood? Well it just got even better. The Vlogmap blog announced recently that keyword searching has now been implemented. Now you can search for vlogs by keyword, or you can find vlogs you had found on the map and couldn’t find again later.
I decided to put it to the test. I searched for some random things like “donkey.” Nothing. I searched for “flower”. Nothing. But then I remembered a videoblog I liked the name of, “Dood… your goats a dirty skank,” and I’m the type of guy that will hop in the car and go to a town just because of its interesting name, or visit a vlog, just because of its name, so I typed in “goat” and Voila! I see a satellite image of a beautiful looking place nestled between mountains and south of Interstate 580, near Lisbon Avenue, in Livermore, California. I can even tell you that if you drive to Phelix’s house, don’t turn into Cortez Court, it’s a cul de sac, which is both interesting and scary.
But back to the video… I found a post there I really liked, featuring stop play animation, called “Heh” and I can finally watch it now that I have downloaded Window’s Media Player.
Vlogmap has been adding features and functionality consistently since it began, and all the vlogs on the map have been screened so that you know they are working videoblogs. Just enter your favorite key words and maybe there’s a new vlog friend waiting for you.

Hey it’s ‘phelix’
My real names Greg ;] I made those videos a longg time ago, and just searched for them on google. Im surprised as hell to see them on this site. I have no problem with the article, just thought I’d comment on it out of amusement to see my old videos commented on.
