Many vloggers bounce around from topic to topic, style to style, genre to genre. Not Bob Thompson. Bob does one thing on his vlog. He rants. His targets are the powerful: politicians, media, corporatons, and celebrities. His tone is one of utter rage, punctuated with sarcastic mockery. And while I often find holes in his logic, or just plain disagree with him, I keep checking in to see what is sending Bob over the edge this week. I think it’s because I can learn something about America when I watch him. I am sure Bob represents a lot of peoples’ views. Truth be told, I’m nodding my head along with him a lot of the time. And I am drawn to the passion that emanates from his fury contorted face. Plus, I was the guy who taught him how to videoblog, so I have a kind of sentimental interest in how his vlog is progressing. The funny thing is, in person, when he isn’t on camera or on stage, Bob is a relaxed and mellow guy. Vlogs are a way for a regular Joe or Jane to have a voice, and Bob is making his voice heard loud and clear. And if you don’t like what Bob has to say, make your own vlog and rant and rage right back at him.
Disclaimer: Bob uses foul language.

Nice. I especially like the way he bookends each sequence.
