Like I mentioned on Thursday, the newly updated version of FireANT for Mac is out and is packed full of new features. Go over to their site, download it, and enjoy all of this:
- double size and maximized size for video window
- space bar pauses/plays the video
- double-click a channel to see only videos from that channel
- bookmark a video with delicious
- mail a video to a friend
- subscribe to search results from the FireANT directory, Mefeedia, Delicious, and Yahoo! video search
- flag videos to remember them (and prevent them from being trashed if you use the automatic cleanup feature)
- full support for Flash animations and FLV videos
- donate button for videoblogs with “rel=payment” links
- new drawer combines channels (feeds) and playlist
- channels list and playlist can be sorted by clicking the column headers
- channels list and playlist can be filtered by typing part of a channel name or video title
- multiple selection in channels list and in playlist
- new action menu at bottom of channels list and playlist (also available with right-click or ctrl-click on a channel or video)
- videos can be saved to your hard drive, and videos from your hard drive can be added to FireANT (you can also drag and drop)
- drag and drop subscribe (for instance, drag and drop a “Subscribe” button from the FireANT directory in Safari to the channels list)
- badge on dock icons shows the number of new videos
- dock menu provides basic functions even when FireANT is in the background
