Forbes Reviews Video Blogs in “Best of the Web”

Forbes did their research, and finally got some stuff right. They realize that vlogs aren’t TV, and that they aren’t trying to be TV! The article provides a good number of reviews of video blogs, and video blogging resources.
They do a pretty good job of giving a look into the different kinds of vlogs out there, and also some of the sites that have sprung up out of the movement. Chuck Olsen (who seems to be the main authority these days when it comes to finding and commenting on recent video blogging press) has this to say about the review of his video blog:
Pretty cool so far. What’s funny is the BEST/WORST reviews. For
example mine:BEST: Well organized and some videos are offered in both Quicktime
and Flash.WORST: Videos only; no other content or links on the site.
Yeah, pretty terrible that a videoblog only has videos!
Even though the article has some points to nitpick about, it does a great job of introducing the world to our favorite medium of expression. I hope that more news sources do their research like Forbes obviously has, that way there will be a lot more happy vloggers, and a lot less mis-informed readers!
