Senator Edwards answered my question about arts programs and education. Thank you Senator for your clear response. As a teacher, I can testify that public schools are under the gun to meet increasingly stringent standards while budgets are being crunched and class sizes rise. Link.

This is so cool, Bre! As a fellow member of the education community, I applaud your efforts towards awareness of the importance of art education. As a counselor, I see, on a daily basis, what a difference art in schools can make on both an individual and group level. Kudos, as well, to Senator Edwards for actually talking with the public. It seems like that is no longer the norm, but a rareity in our society.
